Example #1 - Whitelisting K-State messages       [top]
  • Create a new filter by pressing Options->Mail Filters->New Filter:
  • In the window that pops up,
    1. Type K-State Mail into the Filter Name input box
    2. Verify From is selected in the first drop-down box

  • Next,
    1. Select contains from the 2nd drop-down box
    2. Type k-state.edu into the condition input box
    3. Click the plus sign (+) to add another condition

  • Finally,
    1. Type ksu.edu into the 2nd condition input box
    2. Verify the action drop-down box at the bottom is set to Keep In Inbox



Example #2 - Tagging Zimbra-related messages       [top]
  • Create a new filter by pressing Options->Mail Filters->New Filter:
  • Next,
    • Type Zimbra related into the condition input box
    • Select Subject from the 1st drop-down box
    • Select contains from the 2nd drop-down box
    • Type zimbra into the condition input box

  • After that,
    • Select Tag with from the actions drop-down box (at the bottom)
    • Click the Browse... button

  • Finally,
    1. Click the New button
    2. Type Zimbra into the Tag name input box
    3. Click OK on all open dialog boxes
    4. You're done!
