Turn off all lights as you exit.
Return the keys to the Office of the Dean of Engineering.

Lighting
The lighting panel is located near the podium, by the door to the back room. The buttons numbered 1 through 5 are preset lighting patterns that can probably meet most needs without further adjustments. Moving forward or backward in the numbered sequence makes the room darker or brighter.
1: All lights on.
2: Same as (1), but whiteboard lights are turned off.
3: Same as (2) but front downlights are turned off.
4: Same as (3) but audience area is dimmed.
5: Same as (4) but audience area is even darker.
6: All off except aisle and wall sconce lights.

Sound
The sound equipment rack is located inside the back room near the podium.
The black start button on the very top component in the sound equipment rack turns the entire sound system on or off (see picture). The start button is labelled with a post-it note and arrow to clearly identify it.
The main sound rocker switch on the left should remain on at all times.
The system is on when the 6 sequence lights to the right of the start button are on.
The lapel mic is located in a drawer halfway down on the sound equipment rack. Turn the mic on using the on/off switch on the top of the mic. No other changes need to be made.
Do not make changes to switches or settings. The audio system automatically mixes sounds from all inputs and adjusts volume levels.
Please turn the sound system off after your presentation is over by pressing the start button and confirming that the 6 sequence lights turn off.

and the other end to the connector located by the touchscreen (see pictures below). For information networking, see the Network Connectivity section.
Note: If the display does not appear on the projector, you may need to change the monitor settings on your laptop. The settings should have a maximum screen resolution
of 1024x768 and the refresh rate should be less than 75 Hertz. This can be done in the "Display" control panel, located by right-clicking on your desktop and choosing "Properties."

The image may be too light (washed out) or too dark if the automatic iris mistakenly chooses an improper setting. Use the instructions posted on the tray at the front of the ELMO to manually adjust the brightness/darkness.
